In this special concert, Colorado Bach Ensemble is inviting collaboration with and featuring choirs from local high schools Rocky Mountain High School and Grandview High School in November 2024. The singers of CBE and the high school choirs will perform selected contemporary choral works by Eric Whitacre, Craig Hella Johnson, Elaine Hagenberg, and more. Through this collaboration, we hope to introduce these young musicians to the incomparable music of J.S. Bach, while inspiring them to continue singing throughout their lifetime. In the second half of the program, Colorado Bach Ensemble will perform Bach’s Mass in G Major, BWV 236. We will finish the concert with a final chorale with the high school singers.
