Amalia Crevani, an Italian-American soprano, is a graduate of the Yale
School of Music, DePauw University School of Music and the Juilliard
School. She has performed at the National Opera Center, New York City
Center, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and throughout Europe. Recent
performances include Amina (cover) in La Sonnambula (Teatro Nuovo
NYC), Asprano in Vivaldi’s Motezuma (Opera Neo), Musetta in La
Bohème/La vie de Bohème (Shakespeare Opera Theater), Lauretta in
Gianni Schicchi (Aspen), La Comtesse Adele in Le Comte Ory, Morgana in
Alcina. Amalia studied at L’Accademia Chigiana in 2023 and performed
at the Aspen Music Festival and School in 2022 & 2024.
Her concert repertory includes Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas brasileiras no. 5 with chamber
ensemble and Bach’s cantata BWV 51: Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen,
with Maestro Nic McGegan in An Evening of Baroque Music, streamed live on Medici TV. Awards include: N.A.T.S. National Chapter 2025 (Semi-Finalist); F.M.I. Omaggio a Maria Callas Città di Brescia 2024-25 (Finalist); Opera Mississippi John Alexander 2024 (Finalist); James Toland Vocal Arts Competition 2024 (Semifinalist); Opera Grand Rapids Competition
2021 (Finalist); NATS 2021 & 2025 (National Semifinalist); Camille Coloratura Awards 2025, 2022 & 2020 (Live & Virtual Finalist; Encouragement Award); and the Laffont Competition 2019 (Encouragement).
