Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Statement

Adopted by the Board of Directors, August 2022

Colorado Bach Ensemble acknowledges the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within our organization. While we are still in the early stages, our board of directors have been working hard to address DEIA practices in a meaningful and authentic way. We are actively working to address these areas within our board makeup, staffing, musician makeup, and through our outreach. We recognize that achieving diversity and equity involves the inclusion and contributions from individuals that reflect our community, including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, gender identity, religion, language, age, marital status, education, geography, and disabilities. We are dedicated to eliminating barriers that may prevent the full participation of systemically disadvantaged groups and individuals. Finally, we are committed to working on ways to increase the accessibility to our performances for ALL groups of individuals.
