Mezzo-soprano Jenna Clark is a versatile and compelling artist based in Denver, CO. Most recently, she covered the role of Ramiro in Vivaldi’s Motezuma with Opera Neo, performed the alto solos in Bach’s Süsser Trost, mein Jesu kömmt (BWV 151) with the Colorado Bach Ensemble, and solos in The Voice of Juana Inés, a concert in celebration of the poetry and music of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado. Other recent performances include Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, the alto solos in Mozart’s Requiem, and the alto solos in Beethoven’s Mass in C as a part of the Crested Butte Music Festival, La Abuela in Manuel de Falla’s La vida breve and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with Opera Fort Collins, and Amor in La púrpura de la Rosa by Tomás de Torrejón y Velasco with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado. Jenna has been seen as a Tyler Young Artist at Opera on the James (2024) and an Apprentice Artist at Central City Opera (2022), covering the role of Signora Naccarelli in The Light in the Piazza.
